Since Tori asked a very good question about how long terms are and what do you have to do to make it to the next year. I thought it would be a good idea to make a thread about post counts and terms to make it easier for people to understand. If you have noticed it doesn't take much to make a post count on this site so moving up a year should be no problem for anyone. Moving from first year to second year is probably the hardest to move up to along with from seventh year to graduation, other than those years it won't be too hard to move up a year.
Terms Terms on Beyond the Hourglass last four months. Breaks are two weeks. From May 8th to August 17 is term one. From August 17 to September 5th is the two week break. September 6th would start term two.
Post Count To move up to Second Year - 200 posts To move up to Third Year - 300 posts To move up to Fourth Year - 400 posts To move up to Fifth Year - 500 posts To move up to Sixth Year - 600 posts To move up to Seventh Year - 700 posts To graduate from Hogwarts - 900 posts
After you graduate from Hogwarts you become part of the adult world on Beyond the Hourglass. You can become a professor, work for the Ministry, own a shop, etc. once you graduate from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
