PERSONALITY: Oliver’s personality is quite down to earth. He always thinks with a level head and thinks about the consequences. Ollie always tells the truth, even if he is quite blunt. Sometimes he can come off as arrogant, but he doesn’t mean to. He likes taking care of others and protecting them in a big brother way. It is in his nature to be competitive since he used to be captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Oliver is quite the brave one and a daredevil. He puts on his big boy pants when it comes to eating Sarah’s food, but doesn’t complain since he doesn’t want to hurt her feelings. He cares more about Sarah Winthrop than any other person in the world. There is nothing he would do to change any bit of her. If anything happened to her he would be mentally dead. Oliver is also has common sense which really works wonders with his personality.

HISTORY:
Jon and Elizabeth Winthrop married on September thirteen, on the same day (years later) they started dating, 1985 in London, England. They were married in a small ceremony with close family and friends. Their honeymoon was set in Norway and that is where they spent two weeks. Of course when they got back they were ready to attend their friend’s James and Elizabeth Hawkins’ wedding in a couple of weeks. The two families had spent their whole lives together in London and went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together also. Both families were over joyed when children were starting to get mentioned a lot. Which is where Oliver Daniel Winthrop begins.
Oliver Daniel Winthrop was born in London, England on the 31th of October, 1986 to Jonathan and Beth Winthrop. The two parents were quite excited to start their small family when they did. Ollie, as everyone has ever called him since he was a baby, was the pride and joy of the Winthrop family. They hoped that he would end up going to Hogwarts like they did and their parents before them. He quickly showed signs of being a wizard once he made a broom come toward him when it was on a high shelf out of his reach. Quidditch became Oliver’s life and freedom since he was able to be on a broom. He learned how to ride a broom by the time he could walk.
Growing up he became friends with James and Elizabeth Hawkins’ son, Malachi James Hawkins. The boys pretty much grew up with each other from the diaper years. Since the parents were constantly hanging out together the boys were put together to give them someone to play with, but of course it was known that they would end up best friends, like their parents. Malachi and Oliver spend everyday together unless one was grounded. If Oliver did something wrong that Mr. Hawkins’ noticed he would be punished by him first before he went to his own father. Depending on how bad the situation was did Mr. Hawkins tell Mr. Winthrop what happened. James Hawkins was Oliver’s other father as everyone knows him as, even Oliver calls James Hawkins father or ‘Other Father’.
The boys were competitive and well just boys! They were rough with each other being competitive in their little Quidditch games and on the playground as children. Never once has the boys ever fought over anything or even argued. Often they’re wrestling with each other because it’s what they are use to doing. As they got older people wondered if they were ever more than just friends and the answer is no. The boys are just boys and really close friends. Oliver tells almost everything to Mal (Oli leaves out the later details between Sarah and him). He trusts Malachi Hawkins with his life and would do anything for his best male friend.
When Oliver was eleven years old he received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Malachi also received a letter from Hogwarts which made the parents of both son’s extra happy. They would attend school together just like their own parents. The Winthrop’s and the Hawkins’ hoped their sons would be put in the same house, yet not, because of how they acted together. The two families went together to Diagon Alley for their shopping suppies for school which Oliver enjoyed completely. Along with his supplies his parents bought him an owl to send them letters back and forth. Oliver ended up naming his owl ‘Nite Owl’ after his favorite Muggle comic book The Watchmen.
After taking the long train from Platform 9 3/4 to Hogwarts Oliver Daniel Winthrop was sorted into the house of -, along with his best friend. They shared a dorm together every year and drove the other boys up the wall while also making them laugh until their sides hurt and they couldn’t breathe. The first two years of Hogwarts went as quickly as they came and who knew Oliver would have a lot of growth spurts as he did. By the time he stopped finally growing he was six foot four inches tall. Oliver took the regular classes of Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, Defense of the Dark Arts, and Herbology. Potions ended up being Oliver’s favorite class while Charms was the most boring to him, which is why he was asleep most of the time in that class.
Third and fourth year came as any other year of Oliver’s, but things were a bit different. Ever since he was little Oliver has been addicted to animals and having different animals as pets (Muggle and Magical alike). Once he learned he could take Care of Magical Creatures Oliver was the first on the list to sign up and he knew what his calling was, besides Quidditch. Oliver joined the Quidditch team his third year at Hogwarts and continued to be on the team until he graduated from school. He played as one of the Beaters on the team. In his fourth year he met Sarah Malloy who later became his girlfriend his fifth year at school. He made high marks in Potions and in Care of Magical Creatures.
Fifth, sixth, and seventh year was a complete blur to the Gryffindor. Sarah and him continued to date and had been called the ‘Cutest Couple’ often for a kick. Malachi made fun of them a lot and the group had formed into a trio their forth year. Oliver played Quidditch and spent much of his time at the Quidditch Pitch, at the Care of Magical Creature’s office, with his girlfriend, or Malachi. Everything was rather perfect for the young Winthrop and he wouldn’t change a thing at all if he had the chance. Barely ever did Sarah and him argue, but when they did it was a little quibble and it was easily resolved followed by a kiss. Malachi and Oliver continued to be best friends as always and causing a lot of jokes often being the mischief makers/ class clowns. Oliver Daniel Winthrop graduated from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2004.
After graduating from Hogwarts Oliver and Sarah moved in together in London. Oliver Winthrop went to a magical university to learn more about magical and non-magical creatures alike to become a teacher. On the side he played in the universities Quidditch team as a Beater also. His girlfriend, Sarah, went to school to become an Astronomy teacher which he always joked about with her. Often he asked her what the stars had planned to josh around. It is also the reason why he has a tattoo of a crescent moon on his neck, which represents Sarah. After graduating from the university he proposed to Sarah Malloy and they were engaged for a couple of months before getting married.
Married in a small ceremony with their closest friends and family they wed on May 9, 2009. Their honeymoon took place in Africa until Malachi sent them a letter telling them to come back because James Hawkins had been killed. Right away the newly weds packed their bags and went back to Europe to find Malachi James Hawkins the new headmaster at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and the murder of Malachi’s father. A deep sigh came from his pink lips as he thought about what was going to to happen today. Today Oliver would start his first day of teaching Care of Magical Creatures. Most of his time was spent preparing for the lesson and spending some anatomy time with Sarah of course. Oliver really hoped today would go extremely well for him, and his wife. A lot of his worrying was around the idea of what if he was a really bad teacher? He didn’t mind talking about anything, he was really laid back, and he did not mind putting his foot down. This class would be extremely fun if the students taking the course wanted it to be fun. Ollie just wanted to prove himself able to do it and it was too late to take a job somewhere else when Malachi needed him and his wife worked here also as the Astronomy teacher.
Looking at the chalkboard in front of him Oliver he began writing the lesson down on the board. The students should already have their books, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but just in case they didn’t he wanted them to have notes. This lesson was going to be fairly easy and it would show the class how to get involved with animals and in the class. If they attempted to work with the class they passed, but if they did nothing then they would fail the class. Oliver was not about to punish anyone who was trying their best at something. If someone succeeded completely points would be given. If everything turned out alright he would start getting animals the students could take care of personally for a big grade and that would be their homework for a whole term or something.
Flobberworms, Puffskeins, and Kneazles

The flobberworm lives in damp ditches. A thick brown worm reaching up to ten inches in length, the Flobberworm moves very little. One end is indistinguishable from the other, both producing mucus from which its name is derived and which is sometimes used to thicken potions. The Flobberworm’s preferred food is lettuce, though it will almost eat any vegetation.
Puffskein

The Puffskein is found worldwide. Spherical in shape and covered in soft, custard-coloured fur, it is a docile creature that has no objection to being cuddled or thrown about. Easy to care for, it emits a low humming noise when contented. from time to time a very long, thin, pink tongue will emerge from depths of the Puffskein and snake through the house searching for food. The Puffskein is a scavenger that will eat anything from leftovers to spiders, but it has a particular preference to sticking its tongue up the nose to sleeping wizards and eating their bogies. This tendency has made the Puffskein much beloved by wizarding children for many generations and it remains a popular wizarding pet.
Kneazle
M.O.M. Classification: XXX
The Kneazle was originally bred in Britain, though it his now exported worldwide. A small catlike creature with flecked, speckled, or spotted fur, outsize ears, and a tail like a lion’s, the Kneazle is intelligent, independent, and occasionally aggressive, though if it takes a liking to a witch or wizard, it makes an excellent pet. The Kneazle has an uncanny ability to detect unsavoury or suspicious characters and can be relied upon to guide its owner safely if they are lost. Kneazles have up to eight kittens in a litter and can interbreed them with cats. Licenes are required for ownership as (like Crups and Fwoopers) Kneazles are sufficiently unusual in appearance to attract Muggle interest.
Putting the chalk down Oliver Winthrop rubbed his hands together to get rid of the chalk. Taking another deep breath he picked up his own kneazle, Inigo. The kneazle purred much like a cat and switched her tail at Oliver making him smile. Inigo was much more protective over Ollie other than any other human. He had been walking around in a pet store one day and she came to him after that it was history. Oliver had gotten his license and got her right away. Ever since that day she had been at his heels and became overly protective, more than Sarah or his mother.[/blockquote]
Walking over to his desk he sat down and began rubbing her fur making her purr more. “You are so silly. Got your motor runnin’ don’t you.” Oliver rubbed his face into her fur and then looked down at his clothes making sure no fur was getting on his suit. Soon students would be walking in and taking whatever seat they wanted. There was no use signing sets to students when they were just going to sit where they pleased. Inigo moved out of his arms and around his shoulders to lay. Sily cat.
