Caroline loves to teach because she loves children no matter what age they are. She treats them, along with her friends, like her own and will take care of them with no questions or second guesses. Often she is quite protect of those she cares most about which is a few people outside of her family. Carrie likes to make people happy and takes care of people before herself.

HISTORY:
Caroline Rose Malloy was born on November 28, 1989 to Sean and Veronica Malloy in Dublin, Ireland. Growing up Caroline was the second child in her family which never really bothered her too much since she had always gotten along well with her older sister Sarah. Her parents taught her proper manners of a young lady and she continues to act that way today. Carrie, as she sometimes called, had visions starting from the time she was born. She sees visions of the future at random and can happen at anytime and anywhere. If she looses her focus on the vision then it goes away and does not come back. So when a future inside comes she stops what she is doing and starts to go into a trance trying to keep herself focused. When she was able to talk about these visions she had seen since she was little her parents knew exactly what she was talking about. In the Malloy family history one of her great-grandmothers had the same gift as Caroline. Once she learned of her family’s history Caroline did not feel as bad since she knew she wasn’t alone, somewhat.

As she grew up she was always a little step ahead of everyone else. Her family would sometimes get annoyed by their daughter always knowing something before they did. Sean and Veronica protected their daughter more than anything since seers are not very welcomed in most societies and usually put as an outcast, and that is not something they wanted. They treated their daughter like everyone else as she grew into a young lady. As Carrie got older she thought they were a little overbearing, but never complained about it since she didn’t want to hurt their feelings. By the time she was around four she had shown many signs of being magical like her family before her. Everyone in the Malloy family had been a witch or a wizard and Caroline would be no different, which pleased the family a lot. The only thing they could not get their daughter into was flying, which is one of Caroline’s phobias. She, Caroline, likes her feet perfectly on the ground beneath her. Another one of Carrie’s phobias is the sight of blood. If Caroline sees blood she becomes instantly sick and nearly faints if she hasn’t already fainted. The smell of blood also makes her just as sick as the sight of blood.

When Caroline was around eleven years old she received a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, which pleased her family and her sister since they would now be together again. The day after the letter came her family and her went to Diagon Alley as all Hogwarts student’s went before school to get their school supplies. There in Diagon Alley Carrie was given a pet rat as her first pet. Birds frightened Caroline so an owl was out of the question and plus, they flew. Caroline is also allergic to cat’s fur and saliva so that was another animal that she wouldn’t be able t have. A rat was the only alternative that the family could think of and Carrie was overjoyed to be one of the only girls that had a pet rat. Later the rat was named McDougal. As the other children who went to school Caroline got her own wand at Ollivander’s Wand Emporium. Her wand came out to be rosewood, which she found ironic since her middle name is Rose since her hair is red. The core was made out of centaur hair which she also thought was ironic because centaurs looked up to the skies to answer everything like she did, and her zodiac sign is a centaur. To her horror she found she would have to at least take one year of flying lessons at Hogwarts and she knew she wasn’t going to like it, but she had to put on a brave face to please everyone.

When arriving at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on a train from Platform 9 3/4 she was sorted into Hufflepuff, house of the badger. Caroline thought the house suited her very well since she wasn’t very cunning, there was no way she was brave as a lion, and she wasn’t brainy enough for Ravenclaw, unlike her sister Sarah who was put into Ravenclaw. Plus, the house suited her personality better than everything. During her first year she took flying lessons which was her least favorite class of all time. Her favorite class was Charms because the professor was sweet to her when she couldn’t get a spell right, not to mention he was kind of cute. Caroline made a couple of friends during her first year and lost some. McDougal was the closest thing to family she had and didn’t mind so much. Often she wrote her parents letters as soon as she received them because if she did not write soon enough her mother would send at least three more letters to see what was wrong with her. It was really embarrassing since everyone’s parents acted normal. Sometimes she was made fun of by her visions since no one in the school seemed to be a seer like her. Most of the time she put a face on to show she wasn’t going to give in, but once she was alone she cave in and went to her safety blanket, McDougal.

Second through fourth year at Hogwarts wasn’t any different from the other years. Caroline lost and gained friends. She went to all the Quidditch games there were, even if she didn’t like how high up the players were. The only house she didn’t want to win was Slytherin. McDougal was always in her pocket during her classes since she didn’t ever want to loose him. A girl in Carrie’s dorm had a cat so she was overly protective of her pet. Carrie didn’t date at any time during her years at Hogwarts since she was way too shy to admit to liking anyone and she didn’t want to have a failed relationship like everyone else’s. She made good grades throughout her years at Hogwarts, but never made a higher grade than a Ravenclaw. A lot of her time was spent reading about other seers and about Divination, which played a big role in deciding what she wanted to be when she graduated from school. Once she hit fifth year she wanted to be able to be ready for Divinations. Divinations was her best class at Hogwarts than any other and grew to love her seer teacher as a mentor and a friend.

Fifth and seventh year went by quicker than she can recall. Taking Divinations was exactly what Caroline needed in her life. She excelled in that class to the extreme and was her professor’s best student she ever had. Her professor was also a seer like her which made Carrie feel a bit better about herself. Caroline’s dorm mates and friends didn’t make fun of her or anything, but they still thought she was a bit weird. Most of her last years at Hogwarts she spent in the Divinations classroom with her friend and mentor, or in the dormitory. Sometimes she would have visions during class and people thought she was faking it wanting to be the teacher’s pet. At least McDougal understood her, even if he is a rat. Caroline graduated from Hogwarts in the year of 2007.

Since she wanted to become a teacher once her teacher decided to retire Carrie went to a wizard university and got a job at a bookstore in Diagon Alley. Caroline Malloy did well at the university and received an award for the highest grade in her area. This made her family proud and made Caroline proud that she could put her visions to some good use, even if it was just teaching. She moved back home to her family in Scotland where she stayed until she was able to teach at the place she had been longing to teach, Hogwarts. Seeing her old mentor again saddened her and made her happy. The woman just wanted a break and thought it was about time for a long vacation. Later that night Carrie had a vision of a man with blood over her lips. She nearly passed out from the vision so the vision ended quickly so she was not able to figure out the detail or meaning behind it. Now confused and scarred of what might happen in the future Caroline Rose Malloy is at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry ready to start her new job as the Divinations teacher under the new headmaster of Hogwarts and with her sister Sarah and new brother-in-law.

Her hand ran through her red hair as she waited nervously for her students to arrive for the first lesson. Caroline had spent the last three weeks planning our the things she wanted to teach. Of course she was going to teach about tea leaves the first lesson and how to read the tea leaves. She wanted to start off with something rather easy and simple, at least it was to her anyway. Lately she had been getting a lot of headaches and she did not know why. Usually she never received headaches and now she was getting them out of the blue. Her diet was good, but she figured it was the stress she felt from doing all of this work. Who knew being a teacher would be so hard?

Caroline Malloy did not bother writing on the chalkboard because the notes would all be in their book and she would tell them how to start the tea leaves until they needed their book to find the symbols of their leaves. Getting up she picked up some kettles and began setting them on the stove. Pulling her wand out of her robes she waved it around and water poured into the kettles and ready to be boiled. With another flick the cups that the students and her would need today placed gently on their round tables. Hopefully no one breaks a glass. I don’t think I could afford another set. China was not cheap at all.

She began playing with her hair again as she waited. Opening a book on her desk she began looking through it just to look at the pictures. Carrie, of course, had already read the book many times before and she knew it mostly by heart. Mostly she just wanted something to do until the bell rang for the class to begin. Caroline suddenly stopped what she was doing when she started to go blind, then she knew what was happening. A vision played in her head as she watched from a different perspective. Some man with gray hair had blood all over his face and was laughing. Seeing the blood it made her nauseous, but she needed to finish this vision. Later today she would go see her sister, Sarah Winthrop and talk to her about it to see what she thought of it. Carrie was never too sure of herself when it came to visions. The man seemed greatly amused by something and then he turned his heels and began running.

Hearing a bell ring in her ears the vision stopped when she distracted herself back to the room. Shaking her head a bit she closed her eyes and breathed heavily. Seeing the blood made her feel a bit sick to her stomach and she needed to sit down before she fell to her knees. Caroline sat down and closed the book she had been reading. Chewing on her bottom lip she waited nervously for the students to start coming in for her class. A couple of students had been brave enough to join the class and give it a shot; and she was thankful for it. Carrie put her hair up into a ponytail to keep it out of her face as she worked. Looking down at her clothes she made sure nothing was on her outfit that would be embarrassing.
