bloodline information
be sure to read this before you submit and application!
PUREBLOOD! this is one of the simpler bloodlines. purebloods have pure magical blood parents. they live a lot longer than average humans. if you choose to be a pureblood, that means you're a full blooded wizard. remember, you can still be a pureblood and be a vampire or werewolf, or any other kind of blood type.
HALFBLOOD! of course, they aren't as powerful as the pure blooded wizards, but they can be just as lethal if they excel at their magic. if you're halfblood, one of your parents are a wizard/witch, but the other is a muggle. there are many more half bloods than pure bloods. remember, you can be half blood and still be a vampire, werewolf, or any other kind of bloodline mentioned below.
MUGGLEBORN! if you're muggleborn, that means both of your parents are muggles, but you have magical blood in your veins. many believe they shouldn't be aloud at hogwarts, but the headmaster assures you that all blood types are accepted at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry.
SQUIB! they are the least common witches/wizards to enter hogwarts. they have no magical blood in their veins and can't really perform magical spells without kwikspell. but, it is possible for them to master magic.
VAMPIRE! if you don't have vampire senses, you probably cant tell the vampires from the normal students. if you're a vampire, that means you were bitten by another vampire, or one of your parents was a vampire, which makes you HALF VAMPIRE! YOU CANNOT BE BORN A FULL VAMPIRE! in most cases, you strictly have to be bitten to be made a full vampire. they have supernatural speed, hearing, strength, and mental power. they have pale skin, which is a brilliant porcelain color when they walk into the sun. I really despise the whole sunlight, garlic, crucifixes, and holy water myth, so that is O-U-T, OUT! vampires can go out into sunlight, but it causes their blood to thin, and takes up more of their energy than if they were out int he night, under the moon. they have a greater need to feed in the daylight hours, but the sun does not hurt them physically, in any way, shape, or form. a vampire cannot be killed, unless they are beheaded, and thats the only way to kill them. They have great healing powers, and can heal from a wound within a minute. But, they can't put their head back into place, but I wouldn't worry about killings on this site, anyhow. okay, I think i've raved about vampires quite enough.
WEREWOLF! like vampires, everybody knows about werewolves. if you're a werewolf, that means you were bitten, or you were born a werewolf. unlike vampires, you can be born a werewolf if your parents were wolves, because they would still be fully alive. modern werewolves, unlike ancient werewolves, can still be human, and turn into their wolf form at any time. They have no choice under the full moon, but to change. You can take a wolfsbane potion to keep yourself in your right mind when you change. There is also a subrace, called Loup Garou. They are humans who turn into actual wolves, who walk on four legs just like a normal wolf. You can't tell the difference. They can turn at any time, and are always in their right minds.
WERECREATURE! a werecreature is just like a werewolf, but they're not wolves. They can turn into any animal you please, but the same rules apply for them as the werewolves, and there is a bane for every creature imaginable, created by our potions professor. for instance, you can be a weredragon, and you have to take a dragonbane potion to stay in your right mind. it's a requirement, especially for weredragons, or you'd destroy the whole forest! what animal you turn into is up to you, but nothing too huge!
ELVEN! don't confuse elven's with the little keebler elves that make peanut butter shaped cookies. those with elven blood aren't short like most elves you hear about. they do have pointed ears, and tend to have oddly hued eyes, like golden or violet. not all of them stand out so much. they all have a balance with nature, and can adapt well. they have a special kind of magic, and are great at healing. they use the power of the elements in their magic. they are exceptional creatures.
MERPERSON! many of you have heard of merpeople, who live in the lake of Hogwarts, but who knew you could be one? You can become merpeople by birth, or by the touch of a merperson. they have a special spell that turns people into merpeople. as a merperson, you can have fins, which can disappear and reappear magically so you can walk around. You have the natural ability to breath forever underwater, and are natural born swimmers, and have a knack for water spells.
FAIRY! not much is known about the fairy race, and nobody really knows how you can become a fairy. experts say that a spell of the fairies can turn you, or you can be a fairy by birth. the sprites, or fairies, are known to be the first magical creatures in existence, alongside elves, and are a mystical creature who have a knack for healing. fairies have their own kind of magic, which seem to be like wandless magic. not much is known about fairy magic.
SEER! THIS IS EXTREMELY RARE! I will only allow a certain amount of seer's on the site, including one of the admins. seer's can see glimpses of the future, and the most experiences seer's can look far into the future. the gift is rare and not many are known to be seers.
DEMON! this is another rare blood type. in order to be of demon blood, you have to be born from a demon. demons have unusually high tempers, and can be very strong when they're provoked, and most are known to be pyro's, the ability to create and manipulate fire is common among them.
GIANT! this is another rare blood type. other than being born from a giant, it is unknown how you can become a giant. so, for now, we all assume that you have to be born from a giant. it is unclear what is so special about giants, aside from their extreme height. though, they are known to be quite strong and intimidating.
MIXED! if you have mixed blood, that means you have several bloodlines running through your veins, often referred to as dirty or tainted blood. I'll only allow three bloodlines! this is a rare blood type as well!
