LIKES: dogs. cats. any animal. magic. experimenting new things. having fun. reading. getting good grades. listening. helping others. learning new things. getting dressed up. boys. going on dates. serious relationships. winter and basically every single season. doing puzzles of any sort; crossword, search, real puzzles, sudoku. playing games. being with groups of people. when her family isn't fighting. having her alone time. school. being outside.
DISLIKES: spiders. flies. any kind of reptile or insect. stereotypes. people not giving or helping. selfish people. wasting time. people who don't share what is wrong with them. people who close themselves off from the world. flings. doing something wrong. when people don't stand up for themselves. any wrong doing. when jealousy fuels her decisions. when her parents stand up for her siblings and not for her. feeling alone.
STRENGTHS: she is idealistic, strong and helpful. she is independent and has many opinions. She doesn't like to be tossed around like a football.
WEAKNESSES: she can be too helpful, tends to forget about herself and can try to be too strong. She overpowers her emotions. She also has a soft spot for people with sad stories and animals.
HABITS/QUIRKS: when she is in her 'zone' she can't get out of it. she hates when people try to cheer her up or stop her from studying when she wants to. when she is preparing for a test, she just locks down and won't stop for anything, only study, study, study. Bernie also goes through many phases. She has gone through her religious phase where she would pray at least once a day and attend Church as much as possible. She has gone through her hippie phase where she didn't shower or shave her legs for weeks. She has attempted to become a psychic but only those with the Seer abilities were truly good at that. She goes through many phases through her life so it isn't new to anyone. Another habit is that she always has to be playing with her hair. She has to be picking the split ends or restyling or making sure it look good, no matter what. When she was nervous, excited, happy or sad she can be found playing with her hair.
FEARS: She has a horrible fear of spiders and anything creepy and crawly, like any other girl in the world. She is also afraid of the dark ever since she could remember she always had to have some sort of night light in her room because she was afraid of a Boggart sneaking into her room or any other mysterious, magical creatures that were attracted to the dark. Her older sister told horrible stories about witches that weren't careful when they went to bed and that scared the heck out of Bernie, and to this day she won't get over her fear of the dark.
PERSONALITY: Bernie was always an interesting person. She seemed so clear-cut and square, but when you really observe her she tends to show more angles than the normal square does. She was always an animal lover, a tree hugger. She liked to save the world, often wanting to be the world's much needed Superwoman. She hated that there was only Superman, Batman, Spiderman and there were rarely any original women as super-heroes. Sure, there was Supergirl but no one cared for her. Bernie was a loud kid and as the years passed, she grew quieter. Only voicing her opinion and not what was on her mind. She held strong opinions about any type of situation occurring. Even if she had no real reason to, for example the Muggle elections for Prime Minister. Although she lived where they did, she didn't really care what they did because it wasn't really her world. Her universe had a different Prime Minister, but she still had views over who should rightfully have that title. With any controversial idea, she had an opinion about it and she would gladly share it with anyone who would want to listen.
She is a very visual person. She liked to see in order to believe. If she was doing a project, she had to map out all of her ideas and make a diagram of what she wanted to do before she actually started it. When she thought about what to wear, she had to try it on and try on all of her options before she decided which one to buy. She couldn't just think about what one was right for her, she had to know. She liked to look and touch and feel. She loved using her senses and she relied on them very much. Bernie wouldn't know what to do without them because if she couldn't smell, touch or look at the flower, she would have no appreciation for real beauty. If she couldn't even taste some particular ones then she really wouldn't have any liking toward it. She was someone who was touchy-feely. She liked to be held and to hold someone. She would always be the one to grab on to her siblings and hug them until they yelled at her continuously to stop. She was always the one who grabbed her parent's hands when they were walking together or latched on to people. She would, of course, back off if someone told her to but she loved to be near people. She didn't mind tight spaces with tons of people crammed into them. She found it rather comforting because then she knew she wasn't alone. It was only when she became really moody or really determined to finish something when she had to have her alone time. If a paper was due and she just thought of a brilliant idea, she wouldn't stop writing it until she was completely and one hundred percent done with it. Or if she wanted to talk to this one cute boy, she wouldn't leave until she had talked to him and had a successful conversation with him. When she was in a bad mood, she would just be by herself and look outside her window eating some chocolates. Eventually she would rest her head upon someone's shoulder but it took her awhile to do that.
Bernie's passions in life made her to who she is. She loves the Earth and animals and plants, she loves them very much and that caused her to want to save all of their lives. She believed that by saving the planet, we could save ourselves and she wanted to do that. Bernie made it her mission to help the world and she set out to do that ever since she made that vow to herself. She was also a constant reader as a child. She would pick up every single book and that lead to long days spent at the library, huddled in a corner, or nights underneath her covers with a light guiding her eyes to the words. She soon discovered the wonderful world of arts and crafts and she would be found painting, pasting, cutting and creating anything that she could. She'd make maps of worlds that she dreamed of and she would write stories about what a perfect world would be. She fantasized about unicorns and mermaids, like Muggle girls, but she knew that they actually existed. She was fascinated with Muggles but more intrigued by the Wizarding World. Her good nature can sometimes be taken too far. She wants to save the planet so badly that she forgets about herself, having sleepless nights working on a poster or protesting. She would always love to help people and get them through their problems that she forgot about her own. She would always make it her mission to save them but she would lose herself in the process of helping them. Bernie also forgets to respect herself at times and she just goes crazy with her projects and missions. Her parents or siblings often have to step in and tell her to stop but she just thinks that they are jealous and this causes her to work even harder, just like her dear great-grandmother. Also like her great-grandmother, she hasn't regretted one decision of her life. She has stood by everything that she has decided to do and even if it wasn't the right choice, she didn't regret what she had done. She wasn't as much as an attention lover though. Her sister, Ally, took that from Ettie and Bernie was fine with that. Although she did like her fifteen minutes of fame every once in a while, she was more of a backstage person.

MOTHER: Olivia "Liv" Thompson
FATHER: Nathaniel Taylor Hunt
SIBLINGS: Ally Hunt who is older and Samuel Hunt who is younger
OTHER FAMILY: Bernadette Fay Thompson, deceased.
HISTORY: Bernadette Fay Thompson was a lovely woman and witch in her day and age. She was born into a wealthy and influential family, blessed with everything that any witch could want and there was no regretting the decisions she made. She never regretted one decision, she would often tell people, in her whole life. There wasn't one detail that she would like to change or make different. Everything was perfect in her world. She was beautiful, brilliant and had everything she wanted, and she loved to show that off. People called her self-absorbed and too prim and proper for her own good, but she would just volunteer more and work even harder to make them even more jealous. In her eyes, the more they talked and the nastiest things that were spread, the more they wanted to be like her. That was what kept her going. She loved being envied and attention. Being an only child helped with that and when she entered Hogwarts, she had to step her game up to be noticed from the hundreds of students enrolled there. Ettie, as her friends called her, was a Ravenclaw then a Ravenclaw Prefect then a Head Girl. Right after school, she got a job at the Ministry and was on her way to promotions. Soon after she received galleons by the minute, she started dating. Within her first few months of playing the field, she found the right man for her. Ettie married Randy Redford, a Muggleborn wizard who was highly intelligent and good-looking (a gryffindor though, for his loyalty to his friends said the sorting hat) and a few years older than her. Ettie wasn't the important part of this story though, she just played a minor role but one that was very major in events that were to happen.
Ettie had a granddaughter, Olivia Thompson, better known as Liv. Liv was Ettie's pride and joy, she loved her more than any of her other grandchildren, although she would never admit that. Liv reminded Ettie of herself and she saw great potential in her. Liv wasn't exactly like her grandmother though. She didn't really care what people thought, she just did what she did because of herself. She did everything for herself. She made friends so that she could have people to be with on Saturday nights and she worked hard in school so that she didn't have to depend on her mother, Ettie's daughter, or a boyfriend of hers. Ettie's arms were always open for her and when Liv ran into trouble, she would come to her grandmother instead of her mother. Her mom had taken a turn for the worse when Liv was at her fifth year in Hogwarts. She had become obsessed with the Dark Arts, worshipping it and loving it more than she loved her own daughter. She abandoned the family leaving her daughter and son to her mother, going to search the world of its evils and flourish in it. Ettie didn't mention her daughter, ever and neither did Liv. So Ettie took the role of mother again and brought Liv and her younger brother, Steven, up. Ettie was the first one to find out about Liv's engagement to Nathaniel Taylor Hunt. Ettie was the one to plan the wedding and to eventually help the couple get ready for their first baby. Along came Ally Rachel Hunt. She was two years old when Liv was pregnant with their second child. It was only three weeks until her due date and she was excitedly preparing the baby's room. She brought Ally over her grandma's house so that she could spend time with her only to find her sound asleep and dead. It was horrifying to realize that her grandmother had just died and although she should have lived longer, she had lived a full life that had ended so shortly. The baby's name was going to be Evelynn Teresa Hunt but once the girl was born the name was switched to Bernadette Eve Hunt, after her grandmother.
And so life began for Bernadette Eve Hunt. She was a fiery child who was always ready to learn new things and play. Nathaniel and Liv did their best to raise her properly because they had to admit, Ettie had done most of the parenting for Ally. They tried doing what Ettie had done but it was all so different. Liv wasn't as bright and happy as she had once been but she had just lost someone so important to her. Someone who took care of her through everything and she had left right before she had another child. Maybe it was because she wanted the baby to have her name and that sounded just like something Ettie would do. They moved houses because being near Ettie's old house, which they were down the street from, was too eerie and heart-breaking for the family. They moved to a small town called Dunster, but they lived on the outskirts of the town where a handful of wizards were located. Their whole area consisted of wizarding families and most of the kids were the same age. Bernie's love for nature grew there because in their backyard was a lavish garden, one where the family spent a lot of time in. Each year they would plant the flowers and although some were Muggle flowers bought at the town, others were magical plants that were just magnificent during the spring and summer. The house had three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen that was adjacent to the dining room and a cozy living room. It wasn't a mansion or anything grand but it was perfect for them. Ally and Bernie shared a room since Liv had a third child, Samuel Malcolm Hunt. The children played in the garden, rode on tiny broomsticks and enjoyed afternoons with the other wizard children. Each of them made friends and were very close with each other, always huddled together and up to mischievous things.
Each of the children was very different though. Ally was more independent than the rest of them, she kept to herself and loved to solve mysteries. She liked to know the truth and at times could be very emotionless. She didn't understand what it meant to hurt someone's feelings because she never took anything quite to heart. She just passed by their statement and ignored what was coming out of their mouths. Sam was more of a people person. He loved to hang out with the other kids and he loved showing off for them. Making friends was his type of adventure and if he had to learn how to play Quidditch or beat someone at Wizard's Chess, he was going to do it. He was impatient though and when things didn't go as smoothly as he planned, he got antsy and moody at times. He couldn't stand to wait in line for anything and he always has to be entertained or doing something to keep his mind and hands busy. Bernie was in the middle of them. She was more at a balance with her personality. She loved being with people but then there were those days that she was just so moody and she wanted to be with herself. She loved playing puzzles and mind games with her sister but then she also loved hanging out with the other kids with her brother, who was two years younger than her four years younger than Ally. As the kids became older, things started to tense up in the house naturally. Ally wasn't letting anybody talk to her because nobody was "smart enough" to talk with her and she didn't want to open up to them. Sam was always out of the house with his friends and often getting in trouble. Bernie was off with her friends, protesting and doing humanitarian work. She dedicated her whole life to saving the planet and people and abolishing hate while establishing peace and friendship and love. She went through many phases as a kid but this one was always consistent. Her levels of how much she put into it differed though. She spent weeks only eating lettuce then she spent weeks not sleeping on a bed because other children didn't have beds. She was always changing her image and style. Going from pink hair to black hair to her natural color once again. She'd wear dark makeup then switch to natural then go to pinks and purples and crazy shades of colors. Bernie was the most interesting of all the children.
When most of the Muggles were going to school, the wizarding children learned the necessities without going to Muggle school. Although their parents weren't racist against Muggles, one of the parents was Muggle-born after all, they didn't want the kids to go there. In fear that something may happen due to their uncontrollable magic or that they will be made fun of or worse, that they won't want to be wizards and will want to live like Muggles for the rest of their lives. So the kids learned to read, write, do math and other few things so they could get by in the Muggle world. They learned about their strange inventions and how they were different. They also learned that they couldn't perform magic around them and they were always told stories about how wonderful the school they were going to go to was. Each of the kids wondered what house they were going to be sorted into. Ravenclaw like their mom? Or Hufflepuff like their dad? Or did they have the personality of a true Gryffindor? Or what if they were put into Slytherin? They all talked about how they would dorm with each other and Bernie was exceptionally excited for school. She loved learning and being able to be surrounded by magic and actually perform it was amazing. She always had to watch her parents perform it and soon enough, she'd actually be doing it. Ally left for Hogwarts a few years after and Sam and Bernie stayed home. They received letters home often from her and the two kids couldn't wait till it was their turn to go to the school. Bernie had received her letter but right before she was about to attend the school, Sam got into a lot of trouble. He was arrested by the Muggle police for wrecking the a store and he had to spend a few nights there until his trial since Liv and Nathaniel didn't have any Muggle money to get him out of there. Those nights terrified him and Bernie was forced to stay home and not go to Hogwarts till her brother got his acceptance letter. She spent those few years barely talking to her brother and only talking to her sister. They sent each other owls constantly and Bernie made sure that Ally told her everything that was going on. Finally, Sam got his letter and the two of them were off to Diagon Alley to get their stuff then to the Hogwarts Express. Bernie was just about to start her first year and she couldn't wait.

HAVE YOU READ THE RULES: yes
SECRET WORD: mallypwnsyou
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE:
Being outside was so, well, boring and highly overrated. Sure, the grounds were breathtaking during any season of the year whether they were sun-kissed from summer or covered in sparkling snow during the winter or orange and red took over the scene covering the ground with themselves or if butterflies and birds flew around the area while the flowers began to blossom during the spring, it was all wonderful. She couldn't deny that a day spent outdoors wouldn't be perfect. It would be absolutely amazing because the land around Beauxbaton was no doubt the best land available to any school. She had never stepped foot in another other place that was as magnificent as here, but that wasn't saying much since the only other school she attended were Muggle ones, much against her will. She had never gone to another magical school so there was really no competition for which school was the best and prettiest. Muggle schools were taken out of the contest by default because there wasn't that magic air to them, obviously, there wasn't that bit of fun that came with Beauxbaton. She just felt at home here and this was the most grand school ever. So sitting outside again wasn't her ideal way to spend the day. There would be more sun filled days that everybody would be outside for. There will always be many more hours that are to be spent outside. Today was going to be something different though.
Instead of putting on her bathing suit and bringing a towel to the edge of the lake so that she could tan, she was going to put on a pair of pants. An odd choice people would think as she walked down the hallway but nevertheless, she wouldn't care all that much. The redhead would work her outfit as if it was a designer bathing suit that made her look ten times better than she anybody ever anticipated seeing her like. She was putting on pants, instead of shorts, because she was taking an adventure to the dungeons. She didn't want to spend another boring day admiring the beauty of the school and how the sun looked as it set down and fell beneath the horizon. Noemi was in search of thrill, of fun and of an adrenaline rush. Muggles went to amusement parks, but witches went looking for danger. Not all witches, probably only her, but wasn't she the only one that mattered? (that was a rhetorical question, by the way.) She was going to be having a dangerous day. Although most people would be terrified of such a reality, she was glowing in it. If her mind wasn't as sharp as it was, god bless genetics for that, she would be out with the rest of the student body outside. Well, most of the student body, she wasn't counting the strange people who took a liking to staying indoors instead of going out and hanging out with people. She was leaving them out of her equation because according to her, they didn't really count. They were just mere details in a mural, ones that the painting would look much better without. The details that people just didn't pay attention to unless they were really, really bored and Noemi was not that bored.
She had been thinking to herself the previous night, what else was in the castle? Were there secret passageways she had no idea about? Were there hidden rooms that haven't been found yet? Was there a whole other world waiting to be discovered? Was there dark magic around the corner? All of the questions could be answered with yes. Yes there was all of this and how she wanted to find all of it out. The Daily Prophet would have her name on the headlines saying "Noemi Lefèvre Finds Beauxbaton Secrets." She would be in need of security trolls to take her to and from classes because so many people would want her signature, her secrets revealed to them and her to be their friend. They'd want to touch her, just look at her, and she, of course, would need protection. She would request Aurors but they would be too busy dealing with the messes that she had found and shown to the world. They would have to fend off dragons, erklings, chizpurles, and doxies. (And if you don't know what any of those creatures are, then you should really pick up a copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them by Newt Scamander, it is a shame that you had me to tell you this before you actually picked up the book. Tsk, tsk.) The Magic Community wouldn't know her name like the had come to know some, but they would indeed respect her as a brilliant witch. She would be showered with flowers and compliments wherever she walked. People would kiss the floor where she had taken a step, although that outcome was a bit extreme for a mere discovery. Anything was possible. She could see herself being asked to be an official explorer for the Ministry, looking for treasures they had heard about and searched for but never succeeded in actually holding it in their hands. She would take the job willingly, although for a pay she had to make a living after all, and she would travel the world in style with dragon skin boots and gloves. Noemi would be on top of the world and named the Wizarding Community's Best Contributor.
She thought of that day as she made her way down the stairs, through corridors and down more stairs. Noemi couldn't help but to smirk at her own ridiculous thoughts and wants that she possessed. They were absolutely out of this world. For now though she was left without dragon skin boots and gloves, she was only wearing blue jeans with a black top, a simple outfit, which was under her school robes. The ones that bore the colorful peacock, representing her house Rouerie, on the right hand side of her chest. Her wand was in her front pocket and that was all she needed, really. There was no need for those flashlights Muggles used as a light source because she could simply say Lumos for that. There wasn't any desire to carry around a backpack equipped with her needs because if she was in such a need of something, she could mutter Accio and it would come whizzing toward her. She was so glad to be a witch, it made life a whole lot easier. She finally entered the dungeons, a chill went through her spine and not because she was cold. She was finally here. This is where the adventure of the day was going to begin. She opened the doors and walked through, not even bothering to make sure where she was going. She had no idea where she was and she liked it that way. It made everything a bit more eerie, mysterious. She crept through the halls of the dark dungeons and she felt like she was an adventurer, an explorer or some type. She was in search of a treasure, a secret that was locked away years ago, but she was skilled enough to uncover it. Only her. She took out her wand as the light became dimmer and the darkness swept over. She said, "Lumos!" and without hesitation a light came out from the tip of her wand. She looked forward and saw a man standing right there, being the girl she was, she let out a shriek of pure terror. Noemi was scared out of her mind over heavy breathing she asked, "Who are you?!"
